Oscar Mendez-Marin is a Credit Analyst. He provides initial analysis, creates visuals, and assists the senior team writing reports and summaries for incoming deals. Oscar loves learning the variety of business models and industries within the venture-backed space.
Prior to joining Trinity, Oscar served as an undergraduate researcher at The King’s College, contributing to papers on overconfidence in the public markets. He has led classes as the faculty assistant to the International Business and Legal Studies and Business Ethics courses. Oscar also interned in Statistical Analysis at The Advance Group, Accounting at Brookledge Horse Transportation, and Small Business Development at New York Speech Coaching.
Oscar earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance at The King’s College in New York City.
Oscar currently lives Phoenix and enjoys participating in local marathons and weekend road tripping. His dream destinations to visit are Istanbul, the Galapagos Islands, and Iceland. A few bucket items for Oscar include competing in an IronMan Triathlon, playing piano in a concert hall, and learning to speak French fluently.
