Jeremy Hodgson

Jeremy Hodgson serves as Managing Director, Credit, for Trinity Capital and is responsible for analyzing incoming investment opportunities and providing recommendations to the Investment Committee.

Jeremy’s career began in the Commercial Credit Analyst program at ABN AMRO La Salle Bank in Chicago where he learned to analyze middle market borrowers. The next two decades were spent in commercial banking originating and analyzing new term and revolving loans for manufacturing, real estate, medical, hospitality, service, and start-up companies. Additionally, Jeremy founded an SBA lending department for a community bank.

Jeremy earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Valparaiso University in Indiana.

A native Arizonan, Jeremy has always enjoyed camping and backpacking the diverse forests, deserts, and mountains of his home state. A father of four teenagers, leisure time is often spent with his wife and kids on the sidelines of the sports field or in the audience of a fine arts performance.

Brown’s 30 years of experience in venture equity and venture debt is apparent in his ability to adeptly manage sales and strategic business operations working with early-stage companies.

He served as general partner at Point Financial Capital Partners, a venture leasing fund and held a prior role as the president and CFO of InvestLinc Financial Services, an early-stage private equity fund and consulting firm. He has also worked as a partner at Cornerstone Equity Partners, a private equity fund.

Brown has a B.S. in business administration and marketing from McNeese State University and is a current Small Business Investor Alliance – Western Regional Committee member.
