E.B. Martin
E.B. serves as Director, Portfolio and is responsible for the structuring, financial analysis, credit risk rating, and client relationship management of debt and equity capital investments within the existing portfolio.
E.B. earned a B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 2013. He began his career at a narrative intelligence startup, EdgeTheory, before becoming a Relationship Manager at The Cirlot Agency Inc., a global brand strategy, integrated communications and business development firm.
After earning his MBA from Millsaps College in 2019, E.B. joined First Horizon Bank’s Franchise Finance team as a credit analyst and, later, portfolio manager.
He was responsible for underwriting, legal negotiation, credit analysis, and portfolio management for large franchisee, franchisor, and private equity sponsored fitness and restaurant transactions.
E.B. enjoys fitness, playing golf, and traveling around the West in his Jeep with his wife, Becca, and their Charcoal English Labrador.
Brown’s 30 years of experience in venture equity and venture debt is apparent in his ability to adeptly manage sales and strategic business operations working with early-stage companies.
He served as general partner at Point Financial Capital Partners, a venture leasing fund and held a prior role as the president and CFO of InvestLinc Financial Services, an early-stage private equity fund and consulting firm.
