Aidan Smith

Aidan Smith is a Senior Analyst of Portfolio Valuations at Trinity Capital. He is primarily responsible for overseeing Trinity’s debt and equity valuation processes, as well as assisting in financial reporting.

Prior to joining the team at Trinity, Aidan worked in a valuation consulting role at Equity Methods, where he valued equity compensation packages and complex financial instruments for public and private companies.

 Aidan graduated with distinction from Indiana University with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Informatics.

Aidan lives in Scottdale where he enjoys spending his time hiking, working on his golf game, listening to classic rock and R&B, and watching his favorite teams (Pittsburgh Steelers and Indiana Hoosiers). He loves to travel and would one day like to visit all seven continents.

Brown’s 30 years of experience in venture equity and venture debt is apparent in his ability to adeptly manage sales and strategic business operations working with early-stage companies.

He served as general partner at Point Financial Capital Partners, a venture leasing fund and held a prior role as the president and CFO of InvestLinc Financial Services, an early-stage private equity fund and consulting firm. He has also worked as a partner at Cornerstone Equity Partners, a private equity fund.
