Samuel Jordan
Samuel Jordan serves as a Director, Credit on Trinity Capital’s Life Sciences group. Samuel’s work focuses on screening and underwriting incoming life sciences investment opportunities and managing existing client relationships.
Prior to joining Trinity, Samuel worked at Oxford Finance screening, underwriting, and managing debt investments in life sciences companies in the US and Europe. Samuel began his career at MidCap Financial managing a portfolio of loans to sponsor-backed middle market companies before helping start MidCap’s venture finance portfolio team.
Samuel holds a BBA in Finance, magna cum laude, from The College of William and Mary with a concentration in Accounting, where he was a member of the Delta Phi fraternity.
Samuel was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and recently relocated to San Diego from the Washington, DC area. Samuel and his wife are high school sweethearts and recently welcomed a baby girl into their family. When he’s not spending time with his family, Samuel enjoys watching football, reading, and walks with his rescue dog, Rocky.
