Chris Erro
Chris Erro serves as Senior Managing Director, Sponsor Finance at Trinity Capital and is based in San Diego, California. He is responsible for leading Trinity’s financing efforts in support of private equity led buyouts and recapitalization.
Mr. Erro joined Trinity from the Corporate Finance group of Ally Bank, where he co-founded the Technology Finance group and served as a Senior Director since 2015. He focused on financing Sponsor-led buyouts and recapitalizations in the lower middle market and growth/venture capital market segments.
Prior to Ally Bank, Chris was an early team member of Square 1 Bank, joining in 2006 shortly after the bank’s founding. Chris held multiple roles at Square 1 Bank, including overseeing the LA/OC region for the bank and playing a senior role in the national Structured Finance group.
Chris holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Chris resides in Carlsbad, CA with his wife and two children. He enjoys being an active coach in youth sports as well as participating in any activity near the water.
